Board templates
Start a board with its lists, a guide and agent instructions.
A template starts a board with its lists already in place. Browse them all on the templates page, no account needed.
Start a board from a template
- Choose Create in the top bar.
- Choose Browse templates. Search or move through the list with the arrow keys; the preview beside it shows the template's lists, starter items, labels and what your agent does. Choose Use this template.
- Give the board a title and choose Create Board.
You can also open Manage templates from the menu under your picture, in Your workspace: the Gallery tab shows every template by category, with the same preview.
What a template sets up
- Lists in order, each with what it is for. Agents read what a list is for, such as facts, ideas, to do or done.
- A "How to use this board" item in many templates, saying what to put in each item.
- Suggested labels, added to your labels if you do not have one with that name yet. Labels you already have stay as they are.
- Instructions for agents, which become the board's own. You can change them in the board's ⋯ menu under Agent access.
Values, contacts and dates
Listspace has no custom fields yet. Templates that need them, like the CRM, say what to write on the first lines of an item, one per line, for example "Value: 1,200 EUR". Put dates in the due date: they show in the calendar view and the calendar feed.
Templates for regulated work
The Legal matter template asks agents to send every change to the Inbox, so nothing changes without your approval, and never to give legal advice. Set the board's freedom level to Suggest as well. See the Inbox and freedom levels.
Your own templates
Save any board as a template from the board menu with Save as template. On the templates page, Copy turns one of Listspace's templates into your own, which you can then change.
Agents
An agent finds every template, with its category and lists, through the list_templates tool, and makes a board from one with create_board.
