Teams
One shared space for a team: members, private boards, guests and agents.
A team is one shared space of boards for a company, a department or a group of freelancers. The team space shows in your space switcher, under Team, next to your own spaces. Your own spaces stay yours: nobody in the team sees them.
For now, Listspace sets teams up by hand. A team has 2 to 50 seats. To start one, or for more than 50 seats, write to Listspace.
Pro comes with the seat
While you are in a team you have Pro, on the team's boards and in your own spaces. If you already pay for Pro yourself, Listspace offers to pause it when you join, so you do not pay twice.
When you leave a team or are removed, your access to the team's boards stops at once. Then you choose: continue with Pro and pay for it yourself, or continue on Free. You get an email, and Listspace asks once when you next open it. Nothing of yours is deleted either way.
Who sees a board
A board in the team space is either:
- Team: everyone in the team sees and edits it. New boards start this way.
- Private: only the people on the board see it. Anyone on a private board can add others from the team.
Open the board's ⋯ menu: Visible to shows who sees it now. The person who started the board and the team's admins can change it. The team owner sees every board in the team, private ones too.
To share one of your own boards with the team, choose Move to space in its ⋯ menu and pick the team space. Listspace says first that everyone in the team will see it. A board with files cannot move into or out of a team yet.
Roles
- Owner: everything an admin can do, and sees every board.
- Admin: invites and removes members, sets the team rules for agents, and decides whether team boards can be public.
- Member: sees and edits the team boards, starts new boards and invites guests.
Invites go by email from Settings, Team. An invite link works for 7 days.
Guests on team boards
Members can invite guests to a team board from Share: a client or a freelancer who sees only that board. Guests view or comment, take no seat and cost nothing. A team board can have up to 10 guests. While the team's account is on hold, guests cannot open its boards and see a short notice instead. See Guests on a board.
Public links
A team board can only get a public link when an admin has turned on Allow public boards in Settings, Team, and then only an admin can turn the link on. It is off at first. Turning it off ends every public link in the team.
Agents on team boards
Your AI never gets more rights than you. On a team board it works at the lowest of four levels: the team maximum, the board's level, your level in the team and your plan's maximum. Your AI says which one limits it. A new team's maximum is Act: completing, archiving and moving to Done wait in the Inbox. An admin can raise it to Full to let agents do these directly. Moving a board into or out of the team always goes to the Inbox first. See Inbox and Agent access.
Leave a team
Open Settings, Team and choose Leave team. You lose access to the team's boards at once. What you added stays with the team. The owner cannot leave; write to Listspace to hand the team over first.
