Listspace for lawyers

Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Listspace and keep each matter on a board: the intake, research, drafts, filings and every deadline. Your AI reads the board at the start of a chat and keeps it up to date while you work. With Agent access set to Suggest, nothing your AI wants to change happens until you approve it.

Your AI app does remember things. But that memory lives inside one app, you cannot easily see or correct it, and it does not know what still holds and what was replaced. On a board, the state of the matter is in one place you can read, check and correct, and every AI you connect works from it.

Confidential work, with your approval first

  • Set Agent access on a board to Suggest, and every change an AI wants to make waits in the board's Inbox until you approve it.
  • History shows every change and who made it, you or which AI, and you can undo an AI's change there.
  • Your boards and files are stored in the EU, on every plan, Free included.
  • Emails from Listspace, such as the daily summary, are sent through MXroute from a server in the United States. The sub-processors page lists every provider.
  • Listspace never uses your data to train AI models, and runs no AI models itself.
  • Business customers can sign a Data Processing Agreement under Article 28 GDPR.
  • Listspace is not designed for special categories of personal data, such as health data.
  • The AI you connect reads what you allow it, under its own maker's terms, which Listspace does not control. Check those terms, and the rules of your profession, before a board holds client details.
  • Turn on two-step sign-in with an authenticator app in Settings.

The details are on the Trust page, in the Privacy Policy and in the Data Processing Agreement.

What the board looks like

Start from a template. It sets up the lists and tells your AI how to keep the board up to date. Rename or add lists as you like.

Legal matter

Use template

One board per matter: intake, research, drafting, review, filing and every deadline, with each change approved by you.

  1. IntakeInfo

    How to use this board

  2. Notes and questionsCapture

New facts, questions and notes to sort later

  3. ResearchDoing

Questions to look into, sources and findings

  4. DraftingDoing

    Documents being written

  5. ReviewDoing

    Drafts waiting for review

  6. FilingTo do

    Ready to file or send

  7. DeadlinesTo do

Also fits: Contract review. See every template.

What your AI does

  • Turns your notes from a client call into items for your approval: new facts in Notes and questions, and each deadline in Deadlines with its due date, for the calendar view and your calendar feed.
  • Keeps each contract, memo or brief as a document on the board. Every saved change is a version you can compare with another one and restore.
  • Summarizes a long document or lists what changed between two versions, and marks what it wrote as a draft. It does not give legal advice: you decide.
  • Answers "what is due on this matter this week?" from the board, in any AI app you connect.

Things to ask your AI

Once Listspace is connected, type these in Claude, ChatGPT or any AI app you connect. The names are examples.

  • Make a board for the Northwind lease dispute from the Legal matter template
  • Add our reply to the motion to Deadlines, due November 14
  • List what changed between the last two versions of the supply agreement
  • What is still waiting for the client on the Northwind matter?

Questions

Does my AI give legal advice on the board?

No. The Legal matter and Contract review templates tell your AI to organize, summarize and draft only, to mark drafts as drafts, and to send every change to the Inbox for your approval. You review and decide.

Can I keep client information on a board?

Boards are private unless you share them, and they are stored in the EU. Business customers can sign a Data Processing Agreement. Listspace is not designed for special categories of personal data, such as health data. The AI you connect reads what you allow it under its own maker's terms, so check those, and your professional rules, first.

Can I see what an AI changed?

Yes. History shows every change and who made it, you or which AI, and you can undo an AI's change there. On Free, History shows the last 30 days; Pro shows all of it.

Start with your own board

Listspace is free to start. Connect Claude or ChatGPT, and ask it to make a board from the Legal matter template.

Listspace also works without an AI: make the boards, add items and move them along yourself.
