Listspace vs GitHub Projects
Listspace is a board for any kind of project, code or not, that you and every AI you use keep up to date, with an Inbox for the changes you want to approve. GitHub Projects is a table, a board and a roadmap built on your GitHub issues and pull requests, included in GitHub's free plan. If all of your work lives in a GitHub repository, it suits that well.
Checked October 2026. What it says about GitHub Projects is true at the time of writing, from the maker's own pages, listed at the end.
Who each is best for
Choose Listspace if
- Your project is not only code: a client job, a launch, a move, a side project.
- People who do not use GitHub, such as a client, should see or comment on the work.
- You want an Inbox where you approve what an agent changes.
- Decisions should stay on the board, and only count once a person confirms them.
- You want your boards and files stored in the EU, on every plan, Free included.
Choose GitHub Projects if
- Your work is code, and your plan should be made of the real issues and pull requests.
- You want table, board and roadmap views, custom fields and charts, at no extra cost.
- You want to assign an issue to Copilot and get a pull request back.

There is no Inbox to approve changes first. |

Working with AI, in plain words
Listspace is for the work around the code, and for projects that have none. Your AI reads the board when a chat starts in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, keeps it up to date while you work, and leaves a short summary at the end, so the next chat picks up from there. Listspace does not connect to GitHub issues yet. Linking boards to code is on the roadmap.
You set an agent access level per board, and what it does not allow waits in the board's Inbox until you accept or reject it. On Pro, an agent asks for the next item and claims it, so two agents never take the same work. Decisions, like a price or a launch date, only count once a person confirms them.
GitHub Projects is ahead when the work is code. The items are the real issues and pull requests, and with a paid Copilot plan you hand an issue to Copilot and get a pull request back to review.
Try it with your own AI
Try Listspace for the work around your repository: the launch, the client, the plan. Every AI you use reads one board and keeps it up to date, and you decide what it may change.
Listspace is free to start. Connect Claude or ChatGPT, and ask it to make a board for what you are working on.
