# Use Listspace next to Figma, Canva and other apps in Claude

One chat, two connectors: Claude reads the work in another app, such as Figma or Canva, and keeps the board up to date.

Listspace does not connect to Figma or Canva itself. Your AI does: Claude can use several connectors in one chat, so it can read a design with the Figma or Canva connector and write what comes out of it to your board with Listspace. The design stays where it is; the board keeps the feedback, the choices and the work that follows.

Figma and Canva are only examples. Any app that has an MCP connector can be used next to Listspace in the same AI chat, in the same way.

This guide is built from Anthropic's, Figma's and Canva's own help pages. We have not tested every combination ourselves yet.

## 1. Connect Listspace to Claude

1. Follow the Claude steps on [the setup page](https://listspace.app/setup). Claude works on every plan; the free plan can add one custom connector.
2. Pick an agent access level for the board, so you know what Claude may change on its own. See [Choose how much your AI may change](https://listspace.app/guides/choose-how-much-your-ai-may-change).

## 2. Add Figma or Canva

1. In Claude, open the connectors, where you added Listspace, and find Figma or Canva in the list of connectors.
2. Follow the prompts to connect it and sign in to your Figma or Canva account.

What you need on their side:

- **Figma**: Figma's help names a Full or Dev seat; other seats may have usage limits. The Figma connector works from a link to a file, or to a frame you copied with **Copy link to selection**.
- **Canva**: Canva's AI Connector works with every Canva account, Canva Free included. Some actions, such as Brand Templates, need a paid Canva plan.

## 3. Turn both on in one chat

1. Start a chat and click the **+** button, then **Connectors**.
2. Switch on Listspace and Figma, or Listspace and Canva.
3. Ask for the work, and name the board.

For example:

- "Read the frames in this Figma link and add an item to my Website board for every change the designer asked for".
- "Find my Canva design Spring flyer, sum up what is still open, and put it on the Launch board".
- "Look at this frame and record our choice of the dark header as a decision on the board".

Claude reads the design with one connector and writes items, comments and decisions with Listspace. Paste a link to the design into the item, or ask Claude to add it, so the board points back to the file.

## 4. Check what Claude did

Everything Claude adds follows the board's agent access level. What it may not change on its own waits in the board's Inbox, for you to accept or reject.

## Building from a design in Claude Code

The same works in Claude Code. Figma's help gives the command claude plugin install figma@claude-plugins-official for its plugin, and Claude Code can then read a frame and write it as code. Add Listspace to Claude Code from [the setup page](https://listspace.app/setup), and Claude picks the next item from your board, builds it from the design and moves the item along.

## Good to know

- Each connector asks you to sign in to its own account. Listspace never sees your Figma or Canva login.
- Claude may ask before it uses a tool. Choose **Always allow** for Listspace; what Claude may change is still decided by the agent access level.
- More apps with their own connector, such as Miro, Linear or Notion, are on [Works with](https://listspace.app/works-with). They should work the same way, side by side in one chat.
